Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Stat Space (the "App"), a native macOS menu bar application for monitoring your Mac and the processes, ports and developer tools running on it. By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't install the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and run Stat Space on Macs that you own or control. The free tier is free to use indefinitely. The Pro upgrade unlocks additional features for a one-time payment.

2. Permitted use

You may use Stat Space for personal or professional work, on your own Macs or Macs you administer for your job. You may activate your Pro license on multiple Macs that you personally own; please don't share your license key with others.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or transfer your license key.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

4. Pro upgrade

Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Polar. Your license key is delivered by email after checkout and can be activated either by clicking the activation link or by entering the key in Settings → License. License keys are issued per purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Actions on your Mac

Some features change things on your Mac when you ask them to: stopping processes, deleting rebuildable caches, keeping the Mac awake, or installing the optional fan-control helper. The App shows what it will do and asks before any destructive action, and never targets system processes. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming those actions, including ones you confirm through the CLI or an AI agent connected over MCP.

6. Updates

Updates are delivered automatically via Sparkle. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We make no commitment that any specific feature will remain available indefinitely. All updates within the Pro license are included at no extra cost.

7. Prompt pack

The build-your-own prompt pack is a one-time digital download. You may use it to build software for yourself. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute the prompt itself. Because it is delivered in full at purchase, it is not covered by the 14-day refund window unless the download is faulty.

8. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every macOS version or hardware configuration.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stat Space and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for your Pro license.

10. Termination

If you breach these terms in a material way, we may revoke your Pro license. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
